05.17.2006
There really isn’t a good way to say this, and it was a decision that was very tough to make, but feels like it will be the right decision for everyone. We regret to inform you that Brent is no longer a part of Panic at the Disco, and although this choice does feel very healthy, he is a great friend of ours and he will definitely be missed. We all wish him well and the best of luck in everything he wants to do in the future. The last few years will be something we will never forget, all the places we’ve been that we never thought we’d go and things we’ve seen that we thought we’d never see when we started this band.
Right now our friend jon is going to be filling in, and I’m sure it would ease his nerves a bit to get a warm reception. We’re at home preparing for the summer tour, and we’ve never worked so hard on putting something together. I can’t tell you how excited we are for these shows and for you all to see what we’ve been planning, we’ve got a few tricks up our sleeves…just you wait.

04.18.2006 - New York City
So we know a lot of you have been wondering if we're going to be playing New York on our headline tour this summer. The answer to that is, yes. More specifically on June 28th at Nokia Theater. As you probably already know, The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound will be supporting. Presale starts tomorrow at 1pm est, and you can find the link to it on our splash page.
In other news, we are now back in the UK. We're looking forward to a great tour with MW&C and Forgive Durden. And also, for all of you in Glasgow, we will be doing a quick acoustic instore at Music Zone on Friday the 21st at 5:30pm.

In case you haven't seen it yet, Ryan is in the new Rolling Stone (with Keifer Sutherland on the cover) doing a little q&a. It's pretty scandalous, lots of dirt being dished out. Also, we're in the new Blender talking about how to start a book club. We know we need to do a better job of keeping up with it, but at least it looks like everybody is reading a bunch, which is cool.
See all of you in the UK real soon...

04.04.2006
Well well well. We’ve stirred up some controversy now haven’t we? In regards to our headlining tour this summer with The Dresden Dolls..we couldn’t be more excited, and from the look of things many people are thinking the exact opposite. We feel this could be a great thing for both bands if you let it be. All I’m asking here is that you give it a shot. From the start we (panic) have had labels attached to us, along with assumptions of who we are how we think, what we care about, and what we aspire to be etc. so when it came time for us to plan our headlining tour we decided to do things our way, and on our own terms.I promise you, this show will not be like what you’re used to going to see. And if you’ve seen us perform before, I urge you to come out and see us on this tour. We’re finally able to do what we’ve been wanting to do live since we started this band.. and we’d love to play for as many people as possible. This definitely won’t be what has been considered to be an “ordinary” panic show. We are honored that the support bands we’ve asked to do the tour accepted, we’re really looking forward to you guys hearing some artists that you may not have had the opportunity to hear or see live up until now.So please, do yourselves a favor and get to these shows early, you really don’t want to miss these other acts. This has been the first time we’ve gotten to choose who we are going out with, and hopefully it will feel like home..

03.31.2006 - Summer Tour Presale
Presale for our tour will begin on Wednesday April 5th at Noon EST. At that time you should visti https://tixx1.artistarena.com/panicatthedisco/ for presale instructions. Th There will be more tickets available when the general onsale begins which is either Friday or Saturday depending on the show. We're doing the presale for our more active fans that aren't just hearing our song on the radio or MTV. Hopefully this works well, and the people who should get tickets actually get them.

03.29.2006 - at the airport
We're at LAX now waiting for our flight to Japan. We just finished filming our second video in LA. We worked with our friend Shane Drake again, and made the video for "But It's Better If You Do". We'll let you know when it's finished so you can keep an eye out for it.
We are also getting ready for our first US headline tour which will from the beginning of June through the beginning of August. 03.16.2006 - Lollapalooza...iTunes...Milwaukee Instore.
We wanted to let you all know that we will be playing at Lollaplooza this year, which is being held in Chicago on August 4,5 and 6. Tickets go on sale today at 10:30est at www.lollapalooza.com. There are a ton of amazing bands playing, so we hope to see you out there.
In other news, we just recorded a few songs for an exclusives iTunes ep. We hadn't planned on recording anything before the next record, but iTunes asked us to do something, so we thought it might be cool to try something a little different with the songs you've been listening to for the last 6 months. We'll let you know when the songs are going to be available as soon as we know.
Finally, we will be heading to the Exclusive Company record store this Sunday (March 19th) to do a meet and greet. We're not going to be performing, but we will be signing copies of "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" from 4-5pm, before our show that night.
- panic!
03.05.2006 - ebay
somebody just showed us a couple items on ebay that we "autographed". the first item is an autographed copy of the new AP. the auction which can be seen here, and unfortunately we just saw an actual copy of the magazine yesterday (the auction has been going for the last 7 days). interesting, right? the other item (by the same seller) is an autorgrahed drumstick (here) . I do not play that brand of sticks, and like the magazine thoese signatures are not ours.
I realize these auctions are ending very soon, and people are spending a lot of money on them. We really don't know what to say, but please know we try and hang around at shows to sign as many things as possible. You're probably better off trying to find us at a show than being taken advantage of on potentially phony autographs.
Thanks and see you all at the shows...
- spencer
02.21.2006 - Catching up..
I'm sure a lot of you know about all of this, but we wanted to catch you up quick. We will be taping Jimmy Kimmel on March 6th, as far as we know it's airing that night, but we'll let you know if we hear otherwise. We were going to put a link up to get tickets... but it looks like they're already sold out. If you're in the LA area, you should show up anyways to see if they can get you all in.
We are going to Japan the beginning of April, and then back to the UK later that month. The UK tour is already sold out, and we're thankful of all of your support. Our soon-to-be-friends in Men Women and Children will be joining us over there, will one more act to be announce.
We're also on the cover of the new Alternative Press here in the states, and Big Cheese over in the UK. If you're into that kind of thing, you should pick them up.
Finally, Tommie Sunshine just remixed a song of ours, and you should definitely go check it out at myspace.com/tommiesunshine.

01.21.2006 - Europe is insane/amazing/intense/iold/insane/new/cloudy/amazing
So far the shows in the UK have been great. The kids here are so gratefull to see a rock concert since they dont get to see us as much as you kids in the states do. They go crazy and know every line every song and sing them with there awesome accents which makes the shows that much better.
I Have done a little walking around, but not as much as I would like too. Just looking at the architecture is amazing. You dont see signs that say "EST. 1836" in Las Vegas. Were all looking forward to our day off in London. Were going to have to try and fit an entire weeks worth or tourist stuff into one day.
I left my cell phone in Vegas and I dont own a watch, So i never know what time it is. For the most part it is always dark and cloudy here so that doesn't help. Not having any form of schedule and no real time frame feels so nice, but I dont know if i could handle it for more than 2 weeks.
We are sharing a bus with the Academy and have been getting along great with those guys. We have been coming up with ideas that should make the Truck Stops and State Lines tour pretty interesting. So look out for that.
If you get a chance I highly recomend checking out the video on TAI TV right now. It features Brendon encountering some of the locals in Glasgow Scottland.......pretty funny stuff.

01.10.2006 - Hello!
Well let me just start off by saying how thankful we are to have all of you as fans.you have made being in this band so much more enjoyable than you could ever imagine. we just want to let you know that as the band continues to grow,we will not forget about those who have been there from the beginning.
As many of you have heard, we will be doing a 'walk on' on TRL January 17th. it was never an intention or a goal for us to be on trl, or carson daly,or any tv show for that matter. but after some serious thinking, we decided to do these things because it is an intention of this band to have our music heard by as many people as will listen. maybe this means that those of you without fuse might be able to catch our video on mtv2, instead of not at all.
Your support so far about TRL is much appreciated, we weren't sure how everyone would take it, but we thought you would back us.. so we are hoping you will stick by us on this, and anything else that may come up in the future that maybe you (and us) weren't expecting.
thank you

12.08.2005 - Welcome.
So our new site is finally here. You guys have had to look at that static red site for quite a while now, but we hope the wait was worth it. We want the site to be a place where you can continue to find out more about our band, and us as people. The support we’ve received so far has been incredible, and as things continue to grow, we’re taking you all with us. Also, we need to send out some big thanks to all the people that have created and helped with the site- Greg at Goat Farm Design, Evan Palebird, Kevin The Web Guy and Gary at Chapter Zero Hosting. Alright, have fun looking around, and we'll see you soon.
